Super excited to be shortlisted for the Haworth Prize at the New English Art Club annual show to be held at the Mall Galleries. The show opens on the 16th of June.

The piece accepted into the show is called ‘Stripped bare’, an oil painting on canvas measuring 100cm x 75cm. It was painted over 3 sessions outdoors in my local woodland at Cusworth Hall in Doncaster. Due to the size of the piece and the high winds at the time of painting it, the process was very challenging and so different to working in the studio from a reference photograph.

It’s such a great feeling to have this in the show and I can’t wait for the private view. Thanks to all for your much appreciated support.

Have a great week.
